Allison Liu
Chairwoman
Allison Liu (she/her) is a Wellesley College student studying International Relations and Political Science with a German minor. She is excited to graduate in December 2025. She is committed to human security, ensuring all people and future generations live in an environment and society in which they can thrive. She is passionate about making room at decision-making tables for voices that have historically been left out. Currently, she’s working on her senior thesis, researching patterns of inclusion and exclusion for the ethnic Chinese population in Southeast Asian states during the early postcolonial independence period.
As a daughter of an expat, Allison lived abroad in Shanghai for her early childhood, developing a global vision of human connection. Her political journey officially began as a student representative on the Global Troy Advisory Committee, and as a canvasser for the Michigan League of Conservation Voters. She has worked at the Oakland Livingston Human Service Agency on the Transforming Communities Initiative, addressing housing and neighborhood safety through an equity lens. Allison has also worked abroad in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and with the International Rescue Committee on resettlement services and data storytelling.
Allison is extremely committed to reproductive justice and women’s rights. She has evaluated the breastfeeding policies in every U.S. state’s prisons and researched reentry programs and services for formerly incarcerated mothers in Massachusetts. Allison works currently as a research assistant on the Trauma Misinformed Justice Project, and serves as Co-President of Wellesley for Reproductive Justice.
As Chair of the new Her Bold Move Junior Board, she is excited to lead and empower young women to be politically active and engaged, helping them (and herself) find their voice, power, and strength.
Allison is a proud Michigander, lover of food, and habitual nap-taker. Her favorite pastime is getting safely lost in new cities.

Nicole Moses
Board Member
Nicole Moses (she/her) is an inaugural member of the Her Bold Move Junior Board and a junior at Howard University, where she majors in Political Science with a minor in Legal Communications. She plans to attend law school with the ultimate goal of becoming a judge, driven by a strong commitment to justice and equality.
As a student at an HBCU that draws individuals from across the country and around the world, Nicole is constantly exposed to a broad range of perspectives. This experience deepens her understanding of how social, political, and legal systems impact marginalized communities particularly communities of color. It also fuels her passion for civic engagement and political advocacy, especially in areas such as women’s reproductive rights.
In Fall 2024, Nicole was selected as a Her Bold Move Fellow, where she and her cohort engaged with inspiring women leaders in politics and public policy fields still largely dominated by men. Through this fellowship, she not only learned from these trailblazing women but also actively supported them through grassroots organizing and phone banking efforts.
Now, as a member of the Junior Board, Nicole continues to champion Her Bold Move’s mission. She is dedicated to amplifying the organization’s message across generations, with a focus on mobilizing Gen Z to take action for a more equitable future.
