Representative Marilyn Stark
Oklahoma State House, District 100 (OK HD-100)
Rep. Marilyn Stark, a Republican, is running for re-election to represent Oklahoma House’s 100th district, including northwest Oklahoma City and surrounding areas. She was born in Iowa, and later moved to Oklahoma. She is proudly pro-life, and described herself as a “pro-life conservative follower of Christ.”
Marilyn voted to prohibit accessing medication abortion, to define life as starting at conception, and make it more difficult to access in vitro fertilization, or IVF. In a 2022 candidate survey for Oklahomans for Life, Stark indicated that she supported reversing Roe v. Wade, supported funding crisis pregnancy centers, and opposed any efforts to repeal pro-life laws. Also in 2022, Stark voted to enact a 6-week abortion ban, and for an SB8 style abortion ban that bans abortion via civil action, mimicking Texas’s 2021 law. In 2020, Marilyn co-sponsored a bill to revoke the licenses of doctors who performed abortions, and voted to require ‘abortion reversal pills,’ a debunked pseudoscience, to be made available.
In 2026, Marilyn voted against prohibiting child marriage in Oklahoma.
