William Beck is the Republican candidate for Minnesota House District 41B (covering Cottage Grove, Hastings, Denmark Township, and Nininger Township). He previously served on the 2nd Congressional District Republican executive board, although he stepped back during his campaign, and has been active in local GOP leadership. He frames himself as a defender of "women's sports," a common euphemism for opposing transgender inclusion in athletics.

Beck is closely tied to Action 4 Liberty, a Minnesota advocacy group frequently described as far-right, which he formerly served as Director of Operations for and continues to be endorsed by. The organization advocates against gender-affirming care, abortion access, gun-control measures (including red flag laws, universal background checks, and firearm storage mandates), vaccine and mask mandates, and state climate/clean-energy policy.

Beck has expressed support for a nationwide abortion ban, referring to it as the only way to correct the nation’s culture. He has also claimed that having a child that is the result of sexual assault would make the assault “worth it.”
