Katie O’Brien Duzan

Katie O’Brien Duzan has spent nearly her entire life in the community she's running to represent. Her experience growing up and living in this community for so long gives her firsthand insight into the challenges facing local working families. Katie is raising two children who both go to public school in the district as well. Her combination of business acumen and deep local roots underpins her determination to bring accountable, community-focused representation to the Texas House.

Katie is running for Texas House District 94, which covers parts of Tarrant County. She wants to fully fund public schools, support teachers, expand mental health resources, and invest in school safety. Katie will focus on lowering costs, particularly property tax and insurance for Texas families. She is also focused on building a brighter future for ALL Texans by standing against big money in politics, regulating AI data centers, and supporting local economy initiatives.
